Choosing the technology
Barcode, QR and RFID (UHF/HF) are compared per use case; read distance, environment, label cost and reading volume decide which is used. Handheld terminals, fixed readers and mobile printers are specified accordingly.
ERP integration
Readings flow into SAP or the existing ERP through a defined interface, so stock, work order and quality transactions are posted without a second data entry step.
